# Who Are We

**Abstract**

SkyX is building a decentralized IoT data network designed to collect, process, and monetize outdoor environmental data at an unprecedented scale. By deploying a network of advanced weather and environmental sensor devices, starting with the flagship SKY-300 station, SkyX enables the real-time collection of hyperlocal weather and environmental data.

This data powers multiple applications, from AI-driven weather intelligence to climate risk assessment, smart agriculture, energy optimization, and logistics planning. With an API-based data economy, SkyX serves businesses, researchers, and consumers, while ensuring fair rewards for data contributors through blockchain-based Proof of Contribution.
